Michael Brisbin

IN THE FIRST JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF NEVADA

IN AND FOR CARSON CITY

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF:

JOHN M. BRISBIN,

Deceased.

Case No.: 23 PBT 00072 1B

Dept. No.: II

AMENDED NOTICE OF HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Petitioner, Michael Brisbin, by and through his attorneys, ALLISON MacKENZIE, LTD., having filed in this Court a Petition for Administration, for Appointment of Administrator, for Issuance of Letters of Administration, and for Full Authority to Administer Estate, and that the hearing has been fixed by said Court for the 15th day of August 2023 at 8:30 a.m., at the Courthouse in Carson City, State of Nevada, located at 885 E. Musser Street, and all persons interested in said matter are referred to the above Petition for further particulars and are further notified to appear at the time and place and show cause, if any, why the Petition should not be granted.

The Petition requests authority to administer the estate under the Independent Administration of Estates Act. This will avoid the need to obtain court approval for many actions taken in connection with the estate. However, before taking certain actions, the Personal Representative will be required to give notice to interested persons unless they have waived notice or have consented to the proposed action. Independent administration authority will be granted unless good cause is shown why it should not be.
