Fallon Theatre brings in three films for weekend

We certainly are more than just movies, check our calendar for live bands, comedians and other great events.

Join us this weekend for three terrific movies. Playing Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17 we have, at 6 p.m., the 2021 animation family adventure “Spirit Untamed.”

After moving to a sleepy little town, young Lucky Prescott befriends a wild mustang named Spirit, who shares her rebellious spirit. When a heartless wrangler plans to capture Spirit and his herd, Lucky and her new friends embark on the adventure of a lifetime to rescue the horse that forever changed her life. Voices provided by Isabela Merced, Julianne Moore and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Our second feature each evening at 7 p.m. is the 1981 comedy adventure “The Great Muppet Caper.” Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear, newspaper reporters, in London to interview Lady Holiday, a wealthy fashion designer whose priceless diamond necklace was stolen. Kermit meets and falls in love with her secretary, Miss Piggy. The jewel thieves strike again, and this time, frame Miss Piggy. It's up to Kermit and The Muppets to bring the real culprits to justice! Starring Jim Henson, Kiana Rigg, Charles Grodin, Frank Oz, John Clees and Peter Ustinov.

Also Saturday at 2 p.m. join us for a special showing of the 2004 action-adventure movie “National Treasure” sponsored by the Free and Accepted Masons. A historian races to find the legendary Templar Treasure before a team of mercenaries. Starring Nicolas Cage, Diane Kruger, Justin Barth and Sean Bean.

Remember all our movies are free. Also join us June 21 for a special showing of the 1994 movie “8 Seconds.” This movie chronicles the life and career of bull riding legend Lane Frost. Stars Luke Perry, Stephen Baldwin and Cynthia Geary. This film is sponsored by De Goyler Bucking Horse and Bull Bash which will be held June 24 at the Rafter 3C Arena.

The following night, June 22, join us as the Nashville country music duo LUKE and KAYLEE once again take our stage. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. For tickets, visit lukeandkayleemusic.com.
