CCSO identifies remains found in Kings Canyon area

Human remains located in the Kings Canyon area on May 2 have been identified as Marc Cole, according to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. Cole was reported missing Feb. 14 by a friend in Carson City.

Cole’s remains were identified using DNA comparison, the CCSO release said.

The cause of Cole’s death has not been determined but foul play is not suspected at this time, the release said.
