PUBLIC INFORMATION ON A FORMAL AMENDMENT TO THE CARSON AREA METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION (CAMPO) TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
An amendment is proposed to Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (CAMPO) Federal Fiscal Years 2023-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The amendment revisions include: Split District 3, Fifth Street Project into two projects and updated funding;
Add Carmine Street Reconstruction Project; Clarify Lead Agency for Carson City Projects; Updated funding for Carson City JAC Transit Center; Updated funding for Carson City Multi-Use Pathway Rehabilitation and Connection Project; Updated Appendix 1: Table 1; Updated Appendix 3: TIP Project List.

The TIP is a four-year programming document for projects that are federally funded and are of regional significance within the metropolitan planning area. The minimum 14-day public comment period, for review of the proposed TIP amendment, opened on June 24, 2023, and is planned to close on July 8, 2023. Staff is available Monday through Friday (except holidays) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to meet with the public and to answer any questions regarding the TIP. Public comments are encouraged during this time.
