Thanks to everyone that joined us last week at all our events and movies.

Here is our movie lineup this weekend plus the 4th of July.

Playing Friday and Saturday we have at 6 p.m. the 2019 animated adventure comedy “Abominable.” After discovering a Yeti on the roof of their apartment building, teenage Yi and her two friends embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family. But to do so, they must stay one step ahead of a wealthy financier and a determined zoologist who want to capture the beast for their own gain. Voices provided by Chloe Bennet, Albert Tsai and Sarah Paulson.

Our second feature each evening, starting at 7 p.m. is the 2011 animated adventure comedy “Puss in Boots.” Long before meeting Shrek, Puss in Boots — just named a hero for saving a woman from a charging bull — is run out of town on suspicion of bank robbery, even though the real villain is Puss' friend Humpty Dumpty. Though there is animosity between them, Puss and Humpty reunite to steal a goose that lays golden eggs. Joining them for the adventure of nine lifetimes is notorious cat burglar, Kitty Softpaws. Voices by Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis and Billy Bob Thornton.

Also after enjoying this year's 4th of July parade and all the other activities on Maine Street, join us for a couple of movies — at 1 p.m. we will be showing “Independence Day” and at 1:30 p.m. we will have John Wayne on the big screen in “McLintock.”

As always — our movies are “free.” Thank you to our sustaining members for helping make all this possible.
