Carson City’s Z Bistro is now under the leadership of chef Brandon Lafave, according to a news release.
Lafave took over the operation from Gilles and Tina Galhaut, who ran Z Bistro for 15 years.
“We want to thank our customers, friends, and family for supporting all things Z Bistro these past 15 years,” Gilles Galhaut said in the release. “We’re incredibly excited to hand the Z Bistro reigns over to local chef Brandon Lafave.”
Lafave moved to Genoa 15 years ago. He attended Douglas High and worked at the Pink House in Genoa.
“Gilles and Tina created something very special at Z Bistro, not just a place to dine but an amazing community of friends,” Lafave said in the release, “and I am humbly excited about carrying it forward.”
