The Capital City Community Band will present its annual “Salute To Young Musicians” concert on Sunday, March 26 at 2 p.m. in the Boldrick Theater at the Carson City Community Center. The concert will feature Jake Xie performing Fantasia for alto saxophone, the Carson High School winter drum line, clarinet choir, brass quintet, and bassoonist Alex Garcia Perez.
The band will perform a variety of music including selections from “Cats” and “American Overture.”
The recipient of the Capital City Community Band Richard Doede Music Scholarship will also be announced. The concert is free and open to the public; donations are welcome.
