Section 5339 Funding
The Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is
accepting grant applications for the distribution of annual formula-based
funding from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for the Section
5339 Program. An overview of program goals, available funding,
applicant eligibility, and grant application is available online at: www.

Funding from the FTA Section 5339 Program occurs in the form of a
reimbursement grant. A reimbursement grant provides funding to grant
recipients after expenses have been incurred. The grantee must follow
all FTA procedures to obtain the reimbursement for expenses.
***Deadline to submit a complete application is May 25, 2023***
Staff is available Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m., and Fridays between 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., to meet with the
public and to answer any questions regarding the grant funding. For
