Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Friday night Veterans Day movie and a big thank you to all our veterans past and present for your service. Also, thank you to those that joined us to listen to the Winnemucca band High Desert Habits plus Fallon's own Will Shamberger Band on Saturday evening.

This weekend we have two great free movies for you. Playing Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. is the 2000 animated adventure “The Road to Eldorado.” Two co-men get hold of a map to the lost City of Gold, El Dorado. After stowing away onto one of the ships of the Spanish explorer Cortez, the pair escapes and eventually do find the city. There, a priest proclaims them to be gods in a scheme to win control of the city for himself. Meanwhile, they meet a beautiful girl who helps them in their ruse.

Voices provided by Rosie Perez, Kevin Kline, Kenneth Branagh and Elton John.

Our second feature each evening at 7 p.m. is the 2003 comedy adventure “Secondhand Lions.” A shy adolescent boy, Walter, is taken by his greedy mother to spend the summer with his two hard-boiled great uncles, Hub and Garth, who are rumored to possess a great fortune. At first, the two old men, both set in their ways, find Walter's presence a nuisance, but they eventually warm up to the boy and regale him with tall tales from their past. In return, Walter helps reawaken their youthful spirit.

Starring Robert Duvall, Michael Caine, Kyra Sedgwick and Haley Joel Osment.

Mark your calendars for Nov. 25 as standup comedy again takes our stage with Fallon Fall Funnies featuring Marc Yaffee with special guests Adam Stone and Brian Lee.

Advance tickets are $20 and may be purchased at brianleecomedy.ticketleap.com. Tickets are also available at the door the night of the performance for $25 — doors open at 6 p.m., showtime 7 p.m. We have some great December events coming up also, and information to follow.
