A man who the day before fled Carson City deputies was arrested on Thursday after a joint operation.
On Wednesday, members of the Carson City Sheriff's Office identified JD Murray. After locating a vehicle and positively identifying Murray as the driver, he fled from deputies. Murray was sought on a felony warrant out of the State of Nevada Department of Parole and Probation, and on probable cause for a crime he was believed to have committed in Sparks.
On Thursday, the CCSO assisted the Northern Nevada Repeat Offender Program and Regional Crime Suppression Unit in arresting Murray. He was found in the 3400 block of Airport Road. He was arrested along with Amanda Barham, who was assisting Murray in evading law enforcement.
Three firearms were recovered during the arrest — two handguns and a semi-auto shotgun. Both of the pistols were stolen, one out of Reno and the other out of Sacramento.
Murray was booked on suspicion of a Parole and Probation warrant; three counts of ex-felon in possession of a firearm; possession of a controlled substance; and two counts of possession of stolen property.
Barham was arrested on suspicion of of aiding and abetting, and possession of a controlled substance.
