What a great weekend we have for you.
Starting Friday evening the Lahontan Valley Concert Choir will take our stage after Fallon's annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony where they will be singing the “Sounds of Christmases Past” as they celebrate their 40th year entertaining our community.
Immediately following the concert we will be showing the 1946 classic family film “It’s a Wonderful Life.” George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all – and it's Christmas! As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence, who then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn't been for all his good deeds over the years.
Starring Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed, Lionel Barrymore and Henry Travers.
This heart-warming family movie also plays the following evening on Saturday at 7 p.m. along with the 6 p.m. showing of a Rankin/Bass animated movie. Remember — all our movies are fee.
Please join us next weekend for our annual showing of the “Polar Express” which includes our free hot cocoa bar. This great movie weekend is provided to you free thanks to the generous sponsorship of Ott’s Farm Equipment and Fallon Welding. Thank you.
Also please mark your calendars for Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. as we are excited to have these terrific Fallon musicians take our stage — Steve and Rena plus Annabelle. Please join us for an evening of great music. Tickets are only $12 and are available the night of the concert at the door.
