Carson City artist to feature works at Milk & Honey Festival

Carson City artist Maxine Nietz, will be exhibiting some of her work at the Milk & Honey Festival in Reno on Sunday, Sept. 10.

The festival, now in its second year, is a project of JewishNevada.org. This is the first year for a gallery of art by Jewish artists or on subjects relating to Jewish life.

The festival will feature live music, food, art, kids' activities, and more.

Food trucks and vendors at the event include All Wrapped Up, The Tap Wagon, Kona Ice, Dipdee Ice Cream, Casa Blanca Flower Farm, Mandalynn Jewelry Designs, Truckee Meadows Candles, and more.

Jazz vocalist CeCe Gable will be performing as well.

The festival will be held at McKinley Arts & Culture Center, 925 Riverside Drive, Reno, from noon to 3 p.m. Entry is free.
