Carson Chamber Singers to begin rehearsals Tuesday

The Carson Chamber Singers will begin rehearsals on Tuesday for concerts scheduled June 9 and July 4.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 7-8:30 p.m. at the LDS Church, 411 N. Saliman Road in Carson City. Carson Chamber Singers, directed by Gary Schwartz and guest director Eric Kao, is open to singers high-school age and above.

The annual, outdoor Pops Party concert will be 6 p.m. Sunday, June 9 at the Governor's Mansion. The July 4 concert is part of the Genoa Americana Celebration at Mormon Station State Park. Registration is free; singers are encouraged to join the Carson City Symphony Association.
