PUBLIC INFORMATION AND COMMENT ON AN ANNUAL UPDATE TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025 AND FISCAL YEAR 2026 UNIFIED
PLANNING WORK PROGRAM (“UPWP”)
NOTICE OF THIRTY (30) DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD ON AN ANNUAL UPDATE TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025 AND FISCAL YEAR 2026 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM. This announcement is being initiated as required by CAMPO’s Public Participation Plan which requires a thirty (30) day public comment period before the draft annual update to the UPWP document may be approved. The thirty (30) day public comment period opened on March 6, 2024 and will close end of day, April 5, 2024. Public comment will also be accepted on March 13, 2024, and April 10, 2024 during the regularly scheduled CAMPO meetings. Copies of the draft are available at the Carson City Public Works Department office located at 3505 Butti Way and on the CAMPO website at www.carsonareampo.com.
The UPWP defines the continuing, comprehensive, and cooperative regional transportation planning process for CAMPO. It establishes the Carson Area MPO regional planning objectives and priorities for Fiscal Years 2025 and 2026, covering the period of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2026, and includes a corresponding budget to complete the work. Staff is available Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to meet with the public and to answer any questions regarding the UPWP. Public comments are encouraged during this time.
