Carson High School will host its first Art Expo, showcasing the talents of its student artists in photography, graphic design, drawing, painting and ceramics from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16.

In addition to viewing the artwork, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from graduating seniors who will be receiving a fine arts seal for visual arts on their diploma. The students will offer short presentations beginning at 6:30 p.m., sharing their inspiration and process behind their pieces.

Following the opening, students and employees will have the chance to view the artwork during school hours the following week.

The Art Expo is possible due to the hard work of the art teachers at Carson High School including Patricia Ababio, Alisa Kuniya, Karen McCraw, Matt Theilen and Adriane Wacker.
