Two people are in stable condition after being shot late Saturday in Carson City, according to a news release from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.

Juan Martinez Jr., 21, and Jaquelinne Fuentes-Gomez, 23, were arrested early Sunday and charged in the shootings, CCSO said.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 3400 block of Woodside Drive in east Carson City on Saturday at 10:20 p.m., after multiple reports of two shooting victims in need of medical aid.

The victims, who were not identified by CCSO, were flown by medical helicopter to Renown in Reno. The suspect was reported to have fled the area with a female accomplice, still armed with a handgun.

Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, members of the Special Enforcement Team located the suspects hiding in a trailer in the 3700 block of Reeves Street, the release said. They are being held on $40,000 bond at the Carson City Detention Center on charges: of

• Battery with a deadly weapon, causing substantial bodily harm (two counts)

• Discharging a firearm into an occupied structure

• Child endangerment with a deadly weapon (two counts)
