VIEW FROM THE PAST

One of the prettiest weddings ever witnessed in Fallon was solemnized Monday evening , December 1st when Miss Marjorie Fraser Cole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.W. Cole, became the bride of Dr. Edgar Downing of Oakland. Miss Cole was a beautiful bride, her gown and flowers serving to accentuate the natural beauty and charm with which she is so bountifully endowed. At eight o’clock, Dr. and Mrs. Downing departed for Hazen by auto, then took train No. 3 to San Francisco, where they departed on the steamship Sierra, for Honolulu. Here they will spend two weeks’ honeymoon, going thence to Hilo, on the island of Hawaii, staying for a year.
