A fence and a power pole show signs where they were burned early Sunday morning.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction of whoever set a rash of fires in the Gardnerville Ranchos on Aug. 24. The first fire was reported 1:39 a.m. in a vacant lot behind 1309 Langley Ave. The fire spread to an NV Energy power pole serving a 16-unit apartment building. Firefighters extinguished the fire as a power company crew worked to keep the electricity on to the apartments.
