Obituary: Helen Louise Florence

A Memorial Mass for Helen Louise Florence, 75, a Carson City resident for the past 22 years, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

A Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Mrs. Florence died Aug. 20, 2000, at Washoe Medical Center. She was born April 3, 1925, in Los Angeles to Charles and Mary Weiher Voight.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in La Puente, Calif.

Mrs. Florence was an accountant for the State of Nevada. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila.

Among her survivors are her daughters, Linda Compau, Nancy Florence and Jamie Walkama, all of Carson City; brothers Harry Voight of Lake Elsinor, Calif., and Charles Voight of California; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
