Obituary: Ray M. Schneeberger

Ray M. Schneeberger, 82, a Minden resident for the past 18 years, died Nov. 8, 2000, at Sierra Convalescent Center. He was born Sept. 23, 1918, in Wisconsin to Frank and Dorothy Kriederman Schneeberger.

Before moving to Minden, he lived in South Lake Tahoe.

Mr. Schneeberger was a retired yard foreman for Meeks Lumber. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in South Lake Tahoe.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was preceded in death by his wife Adeline.

Among his survivors are his son Ray, of Minden; daughters Cheryl Moore of Carson City and Terri Schneeberger of Minden; brother Frank, of Kenosha, Wis. and three grandchildren.

No service is scheduled.

Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
