Obituary: Rieta M. Dideriksen

A service for Rieta M. Dideriksen, 76, a Minden resident for the past seven years, will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Carson City.

Mrs. Dideriksen died July 2, 2000 in Minden. She was born Oct. 22, 1923, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Frank Walter and Addie Bessie Irwin Lewis.

Before moving to Minden, she lived in Simi Valley, Calif., for 16 years. She spent her childhood in Iowa and Missouri and moved to California in the early 1940s.

Mrs. Dideriksen was a retired dental assistant. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a loving, nurturing and thoughtful person who enjoyed helping others.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Marie McLane; son Gregory Allan and twin brother who died in early childhood.

Among her survivors are her husband Delbert W. of Minden; daughters Joan Martin of Lancaster, Calif. and Marsh Casey of Visalia, Calif.; stepdaughter JoAnn Loeb of San Luis Obispo, Calif. and five grandchildren.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood Hills, Calif.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
