Bert Puckett, 71, a Carson City resident for the past 18 years and former Yerington resident, died June 19, 2000, at his home. He was born March 18, 1929, in Bayview, Idaho, to Hughbert D. and Grace Fox Puckett.
Mr. Puckett was a school custodian for the Carson City School District. He enjoyed woodworking, boating, gardening and he loved animals, especially his dog and cat.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Loreen.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
