A funeral for Betty J. Hall, 76, a Minden resident for the past 18 years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City with the Rev. Brian Borgman of Grace Community Church in Gardnerville officiating.
Mrs. Hall died Feb. 18, 2002, at Mountain View Care Center in Carson City. She was born Oct. 5, 1925, in Galena, Mo., to Joseph Wesley and Goldie Holt Epps. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Hall married William I. Hall Sept. 7, 1946, in Orangevale, Calif. Prior to living in Minden she resided in Susanville, Calif.
She enjoyed researching her family genealogy, which she traced back to the 12th century.
Among her survivors are her husband William of Minden; son Douglas of Susanville; daughter Susan Couso of Susanville; brother William Epps of Sacramento, Manuel Epps of Fair Oaks, Donald Epps of Palm Dessert, Calif., and Richard Epps of Roseville, Calif.; sisters Mary Hall of Sonoma, Calif., and Nelly Eddy of South Lake Tahoe, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Park Cemetery in Minden.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary in Minden is in charge of arrangements.
