Barber takes seventh at junior nationals

Justin Barber had a strong effort for the Carson Tigersharks on Tuesday at the U.S. Junior National Swimming Championships in Long Beach.

Barber had a personal best of nine minutes, 27.24 seconds in the 1,000-yard freestyle to place seventh after being seeded 11th in the event. Today, Barber will compete in the 400 individual medley while Tara Theilemann will swim in the 100 free for the Tigersharks.
