Mrs. Della Gatta died Oct. 5, 2002, at her home. She was born Dec. 22, 1925, in New York City, N.Y., to Ralph and Katri Henrikson De Yeso.
She graduated from Hunter College in New York City.
She married Nathan Della Gatta July 8, 1950, in New York.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Santa Maria, Calif.
Mrs. Della Gatta worked as a librarian at the University of California, San Diego. She was a member of the UCSD Library Association in San Diego. She enjoyed music, reading and doing research on a wide range of subjects.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; sisters Esther Diekonski of Plain View, N.Y. and Helen Wright of Spring Hill, Fla.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
