A celebration of life for Eric Sigmund Johnson, 46, a Carson City resident for the last 23 years, will be held Tuesday at Fitzhenry's Chapel of Faith.
He died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at his home in Carson City. He was born Nov. 9, 1956, in Yosemite to Odin Sigmund Johnson and Mary Susan Reeves.
He married Rabecca Rich on Feb. 7, 1987 in Genoa, Nev.
Mr. Johnson was a service manager for Carson City Toyota for 23 years. His work was instrumental in enabling the company to receive the Toyota Service Excellence Award for many years. He had a reputation for putting his employees and customers first.
Mr. Johnson loved the mountains of the Sierra Nevada. He was an avid snowmobiler and skier.
Survivors include: his wife; mother Mary Sue Johnson of Oakhurst, Calif.; sisters Ingrid Kooker of Carson City; and Julia Johnson of Santa Cruz, Calif.
