Seffer 'Roy' Pacheco

A graveside service for Seffer "Roy" Pacheco, 60, a Carson City resident for the past 21 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lone Mountain Cemetery with a celebration of life following at his home, 2057 Rapids Court.

A viewing will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Pacheco died Nov. 18, 2003, at home. He was born Dec. 28, 1942, in Los Angeles to Sefferino and Esperanza Pacheco.

He attended school at Norwalk High School and California State University at Fullerton.

He married Sandy Pacheco Aug. 17, 1963, in La Puente, Calif.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Los Angeles.

Mr. Pacheco was a life insurance broker. He volunteered with the Lions Club and Pop Warner Football.

He served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his son Tony.

Among his survivors are his wife of 40 years; children Ron, Timmy, Rebecca and Mike; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
