The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty:

- Matthew Thompson, a 55-year-old Carson City floor cleaner, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. Wednesday on the corner of Carson and William streets on suspicion of felony ex-felon failure to register. Bail was set at $5,000.

- A 47-year-old unemployed Gardnerville man was at 8:56 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court. A cash-only bail was set at $1,000.

- A 20-year-old man of unknown residence and unknown employment was arrested at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny. Bail was set at $347.

- Thomas Joseph Cook, a transient waiter, was arrested at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of South Carson Street on a felony warrant for probation violation and on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to stop on signal from an officer, obstructing an officer, possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license and two missing required lights. Bail was set at $2,500.

- A 22-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 2:42 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Long Street on a misdemeanor warrant out of Reno for contempt of court. A cash-only bail was set at $760.

- Joseph E. Foster, a 22-year-old Virginia City construction worker, was arrested at 7:24 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Long Street on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property and gross misdemeanor possession of burglary tools. Bail was set at $5,000.

- Ryan Gaynor, a 26-year-old Dayton man of unknown employment, was arrested at 7:24 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Long Street on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, gross misdemeanor possession of burglary tools, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, second-offense driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license. Bail was set at $25,000.

- A 74-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 10:33 p.m. Monday at the Carson City Jail in the 800 block of East Musser Street and placed in civil protective custody until sober.

- A 21-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 7:25 p.m. Monday on the corner of Lee and Moody streets on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,864.

- A 20-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 6:25 p.m. Monday on the corner of Lee and Moody streets on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, following too closely, no use of turn signal and a warrant for failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $2,200.

- A 39-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 7:58 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing and battery. Bail was set at $1,269.

n Deputies responded to the following calls:

- A report at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday of a coroner needed in the 1600 block of Evergreen Drive.

- A report at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday at the Meek's lumber store in the 2800 block of North Carson Street of fraud. A report was taken.

- A report at 3:49 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Fleetwood Avenue of a residential burglary.

- A report at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday of a traffic stop on the corner of South Harbin and East Second streets. A man was arrested on a felony warrant for probation violation and on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to stop, obstructing an officer, possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license and two missing required lights.

- A report at 4:27 a.m. Wednesday at Carson-Tahoe Hospital in the 700 block of Fleischmann Way of a coroner needed. The body was sent to Washoe County for an autopsy.

- A report at 6:17 a.m. Wednesday of a vehicle burglary in the 1100 block of South Nevada Street. The break-in reportedly occurred sometime during the previous night.
