A memorial service for Debra Kay Crockett, 46, a Carson City resident for the past three years, will be at noon Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Crockett died July 11, 2004, at home. She was born June 16, 1958, in Saginaw, Mich., to Tom and Shirley Cullings LaLonde.

She attended high school in Michigan.

She married Robert Crockett June 21, 2003, in Carson City.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in California.

Mrs. Crockett was a food server. She helped with the homeless.

Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; parents; sisters Beth Beres of Sunnyvale, Calif., Julie Akins of Morris, Ill., and Patricia Hall of Cape Coral, Fla.; brother, Mark Remer of Seattle; two nieces; and three nephews.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
