Krystel Thompson scored the first three goals and Sabrina Cantrell had the last two as the Dayton girls soccer team defeated Yerington 5-2 on Thursday.
Robbie Smith assisted on one of Thompson's goals as Dayton (6-7-1, 6-5) built a 5-0 lead. Cantrell scored on assists from Biancha Garcia and Thompson. Katie Matheus scored both of Yerington's goals.
Sarah Langley had three saves and Stephanie Shoup posted four saves for Dayton while Heide Soukup made 15 saves for Yerington.
