A funeral Mass for Margaret J. Halboth, 88, a Carson City resident for the past 11 years, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheatridge, Colo.

A rosary will be said Monday in Colorado.

Mrs. Halboth died Sept. 7, 2004, at Evergreen Care Center. She was born Nov. 13, 1915, in Sac City, Iowa, to Anton L. Fix and Theresa M. Fix Meister.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Colorado.

Mrs. Halboth was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church and was a church volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Llewellyn H. Halboth, on June 5, 1985, a daughter, Kathleen A. Hack, and a son, Steven Eugene Hack.

Among her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law Eugene P. and Lorretta J. of Green Valley, Ariz., and Llewellyn J. and Amity J. of Centennial, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law, Delores T. and Quinton R. Butts of Carson City; brothers Anton L. Fix of Boise, Idaho, and Raymond P. Fix of Mesa, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.

Burial will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
