A memorial service for Herman Otto Ogle, 79, a Yerington resident for more than 30 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home.
Mr. Ogle died Dec. 24, 2004, at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. He was born May 2, 1925, in Terre Haute, Ind., to Charles and Ida Robertson Ogle.
He owned and operated the garbage-disposal business in Yerington.
He served in the Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his brother Charles; and sisters Susan, Norma Jean and Mary May.
Among his survivors are his brother Thurman of Long Beach, Calif.; nieces Nancy and Laura of California and Helen of Oklahoma; and several great-nieces and nephews, including Tammy Veteran and Troy Watson.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
