The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 39-year-old painter from Carson City was arrested at 10:28 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 43-year-old painter from Carson City was arrested at 11:44 p.m. Friday at Fifth and Carson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving first offense and impeding traffic. Bail was set at $1,199.


• Michael Paul Gardner, 57, of Carson City, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor unlawful contact with a child, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and battery. Bail was set at $4,001.


• James McNeill, 29, of Carson City, was arrested at 2:19 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Kit Kat Way on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Bail was set at $3,764.


• A 28-year-old business owner from South Lake Tahoe was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a protection order. Bail was set at $1,000.


• A 47-year-old utility locator from Carson City was arrested at 8:54 p.m. Friday at East Nye Lane and Northgate Avenue on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and duty to report. Bail was set at $1,764.


• A 46-year-old unemployed person from Carson City was arrested at 3:12 p.m. Friday in the 4300 block of South Carson on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail was set at $237.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 136 calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of a domestic dispute taking place at a grocery store in the 8900 block of Highway 50 East in Stagecoach at 2:04 a.m. Friday.


• A report of a subject with a gun in the 200 block of South Whitacre Street in Mason Valley at 10:01 a.m. Friday.


• A domestic dispute in the 200 block of Endeavor Lane in Fernley at 8:03 p.m. Friday.


• A report of drug possession or sales in Dayton at 8:17 p.m. Friday.




Storey County


The following are some of the 34 calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of a female being thrown from a vehicle in the 8500 block of State Route 341 in the Virginia City Highlands at 4:44 p.m. Friday.


• A report of a male subject calling himself a federal agent and asking a business in the 1000 block of Wild Horse Canyon Drive to allow minors at 5:42 a.m. Saturday. The man was later identified as a treasury agent.
