The Carson High football program will begin practice on Thursday. The varsity and junior varsity teams will begin at 7 a.m. and will go to 9:15 a.m. and the freshmen team will go at 8 a.m.
The teams will hold two-a-day practices at various times over seven days, with the exception of Sunday. All players must complete their athletic packets, which include the $25 activity card and the $5 concussion fee. Athletic packets can be completed at the Carson High main administration athletic office from 7 a.m.-2 p.m.
Little League signups, meetings
Registration for Carson City Little League's fall ball season is still open and will close on Aug. 21. Registration informatino is available at www.carsoncitylittle.org.
Carson City Little League will also hold a meeting at 7:30 pm. Monday, Sept. 11 at the Carson City Community Center to nominate persons to serve on the 2007 Carson City Little League Board. A meeting will then be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18 at the community center to elect the board members.
