A graveside service for Ronald Quinn Olson, 75, a Gardnerville resident since 1991, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Eastside Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Walton's Douglas County Mortuary, 1478 Fourth St., in Minden, two hours prior to the service.

Mr. Olson died Aug. 10, 2006, at Salt Lake City. He was born July 10, 1931, in Bingham, Utah, to Glen and Rubye Olson.

He married Doris Cobb on July 4, 1953, in Berkeley, Calif.

Mr. Olson was a high school graduate and worked in computer operations for Chevron.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dec. 24, 2004.

Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Janet McCloskey of Roseville, Calif.; daughter, Sandra Groves of El Sobrante, Calif.; sister, Gae Griffith of Midville, Utah; brother and sister-in-law, Kent and Shana Olson of Bluffdale, Utah; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren ;and numerous extended-family members.

Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
