Luke Edward Fried

A memorial Mass for Luke Edward Fried, 28, a lifelong resident of Carson City, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

Mr. Fried died Aug. 18, 2006, in Washoe County.

Mr. Fried was born June 29, 1978, in Carson City to Larry and Linda Fried.

He worked as a framer for F&G Construction in Dayton. He enjoyed cooking and fishing and was a member of St. Teresa of Avila.

Mr. Fried was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Larry and Louise Fried of Vancouver, Wash.; son, Brandon; grandmothers Theresa Martin of Carson City and Norita Fried of Plevna, Mont.; brother, Nathan Fried of Carson City; stepbrothers Brawn Gragg of Visalia, Calif., and Dylan Gragg of Billings, Mont.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
