Expanded section for football

The Nevada Appeal will feature an expanded sports section on Friday covering the upcoming football season.

Included will be previews on local high school football teams covered on a regular basis by the Appeal, among them Carson, Dayton, Douglas and Galena.

There will also be features on local players on the college level, including Douglas High's Luke Rippee and Andy McIntosh and Carson's John Stewart.

There will also be a full page featuring schedules for all the major colleges, local high schools and the NFL. Team-by-team NFL schedules will be included as well.
