Available seven days a week by appointment

What I do: I am a professional pooper scooper. I do residential and commercial yard cleanup removal of dog feces. It's done on an as-needed basis. It could be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. We're no. 1 with no. 2.

Why I decided to open the business: When I was a kid I was outside picking up after the family dog, my dad came out and said, "what are you going to do, make a career out of this?" and here I am today.

Business accomplishments: I was the owner of The Sporting Rage for 17 years.

Family: My wife, Cookie, and I have four dogs: Sunny, Gus, Helmut and Buster. We have two sons and a daughter grown and out of the house.

What I love about Carson City: I was born and raised here, now live in Dayton, and I love the tight-knit community. I like being dug in and part of the community. I love the mountains in both winter and summer. I am an active hiker, skier and kayaker and cyclist.

Most challenging business experience: I did have to go into one yard and pull out 11 garbage sacks of poop.

Prices: It starts at $10 a week for the first dog. Add $2.50 per week for each additional dog.
