A funeral service for Mary C. Ybarrondo, 73, a Carson City resident for 34 years, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Ybarrondo died July 30, 2006, in Carson City. She was born April 2, 1933, in Yermo, Calif., to Edward Cornwall and Ethel Mary Wallin.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Miami, Ariz.
She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, camping and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Ybarrondo Sr., on June 24, 2006; sisters Ruthie Hunter and Fay Wallin; and brothers Gene, Ray and Ted Wallin.
Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law Juan G. Jr. and Brenda M. Ybarrondo of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Margo M. and Pete Smith of Carson City; sister Emma Cedargren of Little Rock, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
