A memorial service for Ruth May Reinhardt, 80, a resident of Reno, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church, 306 W. Musser St.

Mrs. Reinhardt died March 3, 2006. She was born June 17, 1925, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Carl and Katherine Hock Blumenschein.

She married Ray Reinhardt Jr. on Aug. 24, 1946, in Mansfield.

She and her husband lived in Carson City from 1950 to 1968, before moving to Zephyr Cove and Albuquerque, N.M. She later returned to Carson City then moved to Reno.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a homemaker, a study hall teacher at Carson City Junior High School, a member of the PEO Sisterhood for 53 years, and a member of the Carson City Leisure Hour Club and of the SAE Mother's Club.

Among her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Karen of Jacks Valley, Jack and Adrienne of Carson City, Jerry and Allison, of Perth, Australia, and Joe and Carolyn of Reno; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or the PEO Sisterhood, Chapter N.

Walton's Funeral Home in Reno is in charge of arrangements.
