A celebration of life for Joseph Daniel Fetterhoff, 89, a 52-year resident of the Reno/Carson City area, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Sierra Chapel at 875 West Second Street in Reno.

A viewing will be held one hour prior to service.

Mr. Fetterhoff died March 17, 2006. He was born in 1916, to Joseph Fetterhoff and Lucy Steel.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Radioman First Class. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor.

He retired from Boyles Bros. Drilling Co. in 1979 as a district manager after 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine, and his grandson, Joseph David Miner.

Among his survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Jo and Jerry Edlefsen; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to VistaCare Hospice Foundation or the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
