Carson High graduate Dusty Bergman was a victim of bad luck for the New York Yankees on Friday in the 3-1 loss to the Minnesota Twins in spring training action.

Bergman came in with two outs and a runner on base with the score tied 1-1 in the bottom of the eighth inning. He gave up a wind-aided bloop double to shallow left field that scored the run and then allowed another bloop single that scored another run. Bergman went on to induce the next batter to pop out to end the inning.
