A memorial service for Mathew Woslum, 43, will be 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at St. Paul's Lutheran Family church, with the Rev. Stan Pesis officiating. Burial will follow at Walton's Carson Gardens.

Mr. Woslum died Aug. 30, 2006, in the Los Angeles area. He was born Oct. 18, 1962 in Santa Monica, Calif., to Clayton C. and Mary E. Woslum.

He was a long-distance big-rig truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Milo and Kyle Woslum.

Among his survivors are his father and stepmother, Renee Woslum of Carson City; mother of Las Vegas; sons Mathew Woslum Jr. of Dallas and Randy and Justin Woslum of Palmdale, Calif.; brothers Mark Woslum of Reseda, Calif., Tony Woslum of Las Vegas, Frank Woslum of Palmdale, Calif., and Richard Woslum of Phoenix; sisters Tina Schmidt of Sutherlin, Ore., Marikay Woslum of Van Nuys, Calif., Ruth Woslum of Carson City, Judy Perugini of Palmdale and Lori Duffield of Phoenix; and several extended-family members.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
