Russell "Red" Earl Graham Jr., 76, a 33-year Carson City resident, died Sept. 4, 2006, at his home.

Mr. Graham was born Dec. 4, 1929, in San Francisco to Russell E. Graham Sr. and Nellie F. Spelt Graham.

Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Graham lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 44 years. He bought a ranch along the Carson River, which he named Chilnualna Ranch, in 1973.

He owned and operated an auto body shop for 40 years. He enjoyed riding horses, backpacking, fishing, oil painting and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by wife Lauretta Graham and by sister Bonita Parks.

Among his survivors are his daughters and sons-in-law Laura and Terry Webb of Fallon and Audrey and Robert Frazee of Minden; sister Betty Bulik of Mariposa, Calif.; brother Robert Graham of Mariposa, Calif.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
