The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Cindy Shaunel Chambers, 32, a transient, was arrested at 8:51 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of South Curry Street on suspicion of felony grand larceny. Bail was set at $25,000. Also arrested was Bridget Diane Pringle, 21, of Carson City, on suspicion of felony accessory to grand larceny. Bail was set at $25,000.


• A 22-year-old unemployed Reno resident was arrested at 2:07 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to maintain a single lane, no valid driver's license, open container and drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,613.


• A 19-year-old waitress from Carson City was arrested at 11:19 p.m. Saturday at Airport Road and Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to yield and minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $1,522.


• A 24-year-old unemployed Virginia City resident was arrested at 10:44 p.m. Saturday at Hot Springs Road and Nye Lane on suspicion of violation of a traffic control device, failure to comply, driving under the influence of drugs, reckless driving with wanton disregard and eluding a peace officer. No bail was set.


• A 30-year-old ski instructor from Carnelian Bay, Calif., was arrested at 3:16 p.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• Zetkha Kathleen Fountas, 30, of Mexico, was arrested at 4:17 p.m. Saturday at Fifth and Pratt streets on suspicion of felony false identity to avoid prosecution and possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor unregistered vehicle, no valid driver's license and no proof of insurance. Bail was set at $6,431. Also arrested was a 22-year-old old painter from Carson City on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,132.


• Cesar Armando Alvarado, 28, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:11 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Pratt Street on suspicion of felony attempted uttering a forged instrument and misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $8,632.


• Michael Alexander Arce, 23, address unknown, was arrested at 1:36 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of felony using false identification to avoid prosecution and misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $8,407.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 113 calls to which deputies responded:


• A drunken driver causing a hit-and-run accident in the 40 block of Kit Kat Road in Mound House at 1:42 a.m. Saturday.


• A drunken driver at Bridge and Sprague roads in Mason Valley at 3:06 a.m. Saturday.


• A report of harassing or obscene phone calls in the 800 block of Jade Court in Fernley at 1:40 p.m. Saturday.


• A drunken driver on Weed Heights Road in Mason Valley at 8:47 p.m. Saturday.




Storey County


The following are some of the 45 calls to which deputies responded:


• A man reported getting a letter sent to the wrong address that he believed contained methamphetamine in the 100 block of Martin Lane in Mark Twain at 2:18 p.m. Saturday.


• A two-motorcycle accident on C Street in Virginia City at 4:38 p.m. Saturday.
