Nevada Insurance Commissioner Alice Molasky-Arman has ordered Christian Care Medi-Share to stop doing business in Nevada.

The Florida company, she said, doesn't have a license to offer insurance products in Nevada but has been soliciting and selling unauthorized products in the Silver State.

She said several other states have also taken regulatory action against the company, which is a division of Christian Care Ministries and an affiliate of American Evangelistic Association International.

The order is also aimed at two principals of the company, Edward John Reinhold and Robert Baldwin.

She said any Nevadans who have purchased policies from the company should call Ben Gillard at the Division of Insurance at 687-4270.
