The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 48-year-old transient was arrested at 9:25 p.m. in the 2200 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor provoking an assault and disorderly conduct. He was allegedly yelling at customers and employees of Denny's.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Stolen vehicle theft reports on Adaline Street, Palo Verde Drive, Little Lane and two reports at Carson High School at 1111 North Saliman Road.


• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 9:26 a.m.


• Identity theft report on Jeanell Drive at 10:43 a.m.


• Christmas packages were stolen from a vehicle on Adaline Street sometime before noon.


• Three vehicle burglary reports at Carson High School at 1:40 p.m.


• Accident at Pine Lane and Hot Springs Road at 5:18 p.m.


• A report of cash missing from a cash box on East Winnie Lane at 6:32 p.m.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Report of a truck towing a horse trailer hitting a deer on Highway 95 Alternate, north of Weeks at 2:04 a.m.


• A Dayton mother reported at 5:18 p.m. that her 3-year-old son had bruises on him after visiting his father.


• Arrest at 9:53 p.m. on Goldfield Avenue in Mason Valley.


• Citations for selling alcohol to a minor were issued to a clerk on Dayton Valley Road at 10:16 p.m. and on Highway 50 East at 10:47 p.m.
