Trudy Lynn Madieros

Trudy Lynn Madieros, 56, a four-year Gardnerville resident, died Feb. 9, 2007, at her home.

Mrs. Madieros was born Sept. 30, 1950, in West Carthage, N.Y., to Fred Whiting and Clare Duffner.

She married Rick Madieros on Aug. 17, 1981, at Lake Tahoe.

Before moving to Gardnerville, Mrs. Madieros lived in Temecula, Calif.

She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1969.

She was a waitress and a homemaker.

She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Molly.

She was preceded in death by her father, and brothers Ricky and Casey Whiting.

Among her survivors are her mother of Gardnerville; husband of Gardnerville; sons and daughters-in-law Craig and Donna Madieros and Mike and Klancy Madieros, all of Gardnerville; and four grandchildren.

At Mrs. Madieros' request, no services will be held. Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Nevada Food Closet.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
