Genevieve Johnson, 83, a Carson City resident since 1999, died Feb. 16, 2007.
Ms. Johnson was born March 13, 1923, in Camden, N.J., to Peter and Mary Flaszynski.
She attended the Mercy College School of Nursing in San Diego, Calif., then moved to Los Angeles and worked as a registered nurse.
Before moving to Carson City, Ms. Johnson lived at South Lake Tahoe from 1991-99.
She enjoyed cooking, reading and polka dancing.
She was preceded in death by son Ken; brothers Walter Lee and John Lee; and sisters Stella Lee and Helen Lynch.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Dee Robinson of Zephyr Cove; grandson John Raymond of Zephyr Cove; and numerous extended-family members.
