The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Merle Delray Buffalo, 42, a transient, was arrested at 2:51 p.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of West College Parkway on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $20,407. Also arrested was a 29-year-old unemployed transient on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $1,407.


• A 23-year-old grocery clerk from Carson City was arrested at 12:01 a.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and violation of probation. Bail was set at $4,132.


• A 23-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 11:36 p.m. Saturday in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and no valid driver's license. Bail was set at $1,269.


• Diego Daniel Escobedo, 19, a cleaner from Carson City, was arrested at 5:54 p.m. Saturday at Long Street and Saliman Road on suspicion of felony violation of probation. No bail was set.


• A 58-year-old transient construction worker was arrested at 3 p.m. Saturday in the 4100 block of North Carson Street on suspicion misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $744 cash.


• A 40-year-old waitress from Carson City was arrested at 8:36 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence second offense, no valid driver's license, no proof of insurance and speeding. Bail was set at $4,078.


• Erin Murdock, 28, a transient, was arrested at 4:11 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.


• A 22-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 1:38 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Menlo Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of alternative sentencing and no valid driver's license. Bail was set at $3,187.
